Welcome to the SQC (statistical quality control) portal. Statistical Quality Control is a scientific, data-driven methodology for quality analysis and improvement. It is an industry-standard methodology for measuring and controlling quality during the manufacturing process. How does it work? Data (measurements) is collected from products as they are being produced. Data can be collected from a wide variety of automated or manual input sources such as gages, CMMs, PLCs, software applications and ODBC databases. This data is then plotted on a graph with pre-determined control limits. Control limits are determined by the capability of the process, whereas specification limits are determined by the customer’s needs
